Dental Arts Associates of Green Bay, LTD

Dr. David Thompson has been a cornerstone of Dental Arts since 1992. His academic journey commenced at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and furthered his education at the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. The pursuit of excellence led him to a General Practice Residency and Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, setting the stage for a well-established career here in Green Bay.

After honing his skills, Dr. Thompson dedicated five years to serving the population of Minneapolis before becoming an integral part of Dental Arts. His commitment to professional development is evident in his memberships with the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Beyond his local practice, Dr. Thompson has extended his knowledge and skills to the population of Haiti through the Friends of Haiti organization. Regular visits with other medical professionals to the country have provided treatment and education that otherwise would not be available. He was instrumental in setting up a dental school in Port-Au-Prince to which he continues to support from afar as a mentor to those providing treatment within the country. It’s this sharing of knowledge that, he hopes, allows other dental professionals to grow within the borders of Haiti.

In 2016, the legacy expanded as Dr. Thompson's daughter, Dr. Emily Thompson, joined the practice. This familial collaboration adds a unique dimension to Dental Arts, blending experience with fresh perspectives.

Dr. David Thompson's narrative is not just a professional chronicle; it's a testament to a life dedicated to the art and science of dentistry, community service, and the cultivation of a lasting family legacy at Dental Arts. Join us in celebrating the milestones and contributions of a dentist whose impact spans decades and continents.
